IML Overview
The CCF Instructional Microcomputer Labs (IMLs) are classroom-sized computer labs located in the main computing centers of each campus.
They can be reserved for Rutgers courses or special training sessions for hands-on computer instruction.
A variety of departments, instructors, and programs have discovered and successfully utilized the IMLs to modernize instruction methods using applied computer interaction.
Reservation Request Form
Reservations can be made by course instructors, departments, programs, and organizations affiliated with Rutgers University.
In some circumstances, other groups can reserve the IMLs.
After deciding which campus and computer platform (PC or Mac) you would like to utilize, check the calendar to determine if the IML is available.
Use the IML Reservation Request Form to send a request to the appropriate manager.
Reservations should be requested in the month designated below for each academic period.
Any requests received after that month will be made on a first-come, first-served basis.
Initial schedules will be posted the first week of the month designated below.
If reservations are made after the request month, first check the IML schedule for the availibility of the desired location.
Please allow one week for managers to confirm your reservation.
The Lab Standard Operating Environment
includes a list of hardware and software available in the IMLs.
If your course requires specific files or software that is not already installed,
special requests can be made in accordance with the deadlines below.
